A budding Angus film-maker is calling on locals to help him finish his first feature-length movie.
Time Teens The Beginning is a science-fiction film which is being shot at a number of locations across Tayside.
Director Ryan Dewar, 25, is originally from Forfar, and he scripted the film with Perth’s Ian Grieve.
And now the pair are calling for Angus residents to get involved with the chance for their names to appear in the film’s credits.
Ryan said: “We’ve already been quite lucky in the amazing level of support we’ve received from businesses and individuals in the area.
“By staying local, we’ve been able to utilise local professionals and businesses for locations and crewing with one of the key aims for us being to create a completely Scottish production made locally.
“It proves the point that you don’t have to be a London or Glasgow production base to accomplish something of this stature.
“Thus far, the majority of the film has been funded out of Ian and myself but now that we’re starting to get into the post-production process, we’re running out of hard drive space fast.
“To finish the film, we’re going to need some help.
“We are calling on businesses and individuals proud of their area with a passion and love for films. Without them, we just can’t do it.
“Not only will donations go towards purchasing more computer space to finish editing and sound, but any leftovers will be able to help us send the final product to more festivals and get it some real exposure.”
Filming is due to end in July, with plans for an August premiere.
Ryan added: “All of those willing to help out will have their names in the film credits and anyone willing to donate a more substantial sum will have their name at the start of the film as an executive producer.
“We’re also planning to invite some of the businesses that have helped support the film to have stalls at its premiere, in order to help boost their profile as a thank you.”
