St Johnstone midfield men Murray Davidson and Chris Millar are doubtful for the home Boxing Day fixture against Celtic due to the injuries which resulted in his substitution away to Hibs.
The player who came on for Davidson at Easter Road, Paddy Cregg, was red carded within 30 seconds of taking the field for a challenge on Paul Cairney. Saints may appeal the decision.
Rory Fallon, who was sent off for using an elbow on Aberdeen’s Michael Hector within two minutes of coming on in that game at McDiarmid Park, is also out of the Celtic game due to suspension.
Saints boss Tommy Wright was delighted with a point after playing for an hour with 10 men against Hibs.
He said: “It’s always difficult after going down to 10 men but I thought we limited them to very few chances. Alan Mannus only had one difficult save to make.”
The clean sheet was Saints’ 13th of the season and they are hoping for No 14 when Celtic call on Thursday.
