A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a car at the weekend.
The incident happened at around noon on Sunday on the A827 between Grandtully and Ballinluig.
Police Scotland Tayside Division reported that three people on motorbikes had been travelling on the road when one man on a bike collided with a Vauxhall Astra on a bend.
The rider was thrown from his bike, and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The occupants of the Astra were not injured.
The man, believe to be from the Stirling area, has yet to be formally identified and yesterday officers were in the process of informing next of kin.
Police officials are keen to trace the driver and any passengers of a dark coloured people carrier seen in the area immediately before the collision, as they say it’s likely they witnessed the incident.
Anyone with any information should call 101.
