Fife’s fleet of foot have been invited to take part in a 10km canal race to support Scotland’s deaf and blind population.
Around 200 runners are expected to enjoy the Deafblind Scotland 10km race and 5km fun run along the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal in East Dumbartonshire, on Saturday April 20.
In previous years the events have attracted runners from all over the country and raised thousands of pounds for the charity’s work in supporting adults who live with the disability.
Registration for the fun run opens at 12.45pm, with the run starting at 1.15pm and registration for the 10K opens at 1pm, with the start gun sounding at 2pm. Both start at Bishopbrigg’s Leisuredome.
