After they beat Hibs at Easter Road a week past Monday, St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas stated his side had to follow that result up with a win at Ross County.
They lost in Dingwall but drew 1-1 at home to Celtic on Tuesday after which Steve said they must get victories over St Mirren at home tomorrow and Dundee away on Wednesday.
“We have two massive games coming up,” Steve said. “We are coming up to crunch time.
“We are sitting in the top six, want to stay there and we want to go as high as we can.
“I’m looking forward, firstly, to the St Mirren game with relish and know we have the ability to win three points.
“We did very well against Celtic at McDiarmid Park on Tuesday. However, we must follow that result up with a win and a resounding display against St Mirren,
“Danny Lennon has them going well. They have a spark about them just now and will prove difficult.
“However, we have players in our ranks who can win this game for us and that is exactly what we are aiming to do.”
Loan signings Michael Doughty, Mehdi Abeid and Gwion Edwards will be in the pool again.
“We would have been struggling numbers-wise had we not brought them in,” said Lomas.
“All three have done well for us. When Gwion came on against Celtic he was quick and contributed well giving us good energy.”
Saints will be missing Murray Davidson against Dundee at Dens Park on Wednesday as he is suspended.
