St Johnstone are in a race against time to have Murray Davidson fit for tomorrow night’s home game against Celtic.
The midfielder was taken off early in the 1-0 defeat by Ross County with an ankle injury and manager Steve Lomas said Davidson was “struggling to make it”.
Steve was disappointed his team lost at Dingwall.
“My players showed a willingness against Ross County and I can’t fault them for that.
“However, we didn’t create the chances our possession deserved.
“Their keeper was the man of the match and that tells you something about the way the game went.
“They scored early on and then made it difficult for us to break them down.
“However, we kept going forward but it just wasn’t our day.
“Now we have a very hard game tomorrow night. We beat Celtic here earlier on this season then drew against them away in the league.
“Hopefully, we can again take something tomorrow night.”
Dave Mackay (calf) and Chris Millar (groin) will miss the Celtic game.
