St Johnstone’s next game isn’t until Monday night when they face Hibs at Easter Road.
That gives them extra time to get their injured players fit but, even at this early stage, it looks as though midfield man Chris Millar won’t make it.
He’s been out for a few weeks and, although Saints will give him every chance of proving his fitness, manager Steve Lomas feels the away game against Ross County a week on Saturday is his more likely target.
Steven Anderson, who is making progress from knee surgery, and Murray Davidson, who has missed out recently due to an ankle injury, are both likely to be fit enough to face Hibs.
Callum Davidson could also come back into contention after being left out of the Scottish Cup loss away to St Mirren.
