| It’s an area of Dundee undergoing a major revamp — but Waterfront and Blackness is today revealed as the city’s biggest crime hotspot.
Meanwhile areas such as Broughty Ferry and parts of Kirkton are among the least crime-hit in Dundee.
Waterfront and Blackness clocked up 614 crimes during 2010/11, ranging from housebreaking and theft to serious assault.
