Despite more than 550 cases of violence against teachers and school staff being reported in Dundee last year, the city’s education convener claims it’s not a big problem.
Councillor Liz Fordyce said most of the incidents, which cover both physical and verbal assault, were relatively minor and don’t cause much concern amongst those working in the city’s schools.
