Peter keeps an eye on Saints
Dundee United boss Peter Houston will be an interested spectator at Hampden tonight as St Johnstone take on Rangers for a place in the final of the Co-op Cup (writes Graeme Finnan).
The Tangerines meet Saints on Saturday in the Scottish Cup and, regardless of what happens this evening, Peter expects it to be a thrilling tie.

The three games between the pair this season have produced 14 goals and, so far, it’s honours even with one win apiece and a draw.

“It should be another cracker this weekend,” said Peter.

“They put us out of the League Cup, we beat them in the league and we drew the game here.

“We had them watched last Saturday and the report we got was they thoroughly deserved their win over Hearts.

“They also made five changes in the team we drew with the previous Wednesday, so that shows they have options.”

Tickets for United’s back-to-back away games against St Mirren (Feb. 13) and Celtic (Feb. 20) go on sale from the club shop tomorrow.
