Saints doubts
St Johnstone have injury doubts over Danny Grainger and Kenny Deuchar for Saturday’s home game against Hamilton (writes James Masson).
Both haven’t trained so far this week and the game may come too early for Graham Gartland, who is still feeling his shoulder injury.

Steven Anderson has, however, resumed training following his back injury and Steven Milne, out for some time with an ankle knock, should be back training next week.

Martin Hardie will undergo a knee operation tomorrow in which the surgeon will assess the damage before the player undergoes further surgery later.

Meanwhile, boss Derek McInnes has returned from his trip to Italy, which is part of his studies for his UEFA Pro Licence. He took in the Sampdoria-Chievo and Juventus-Udinese games and saw round the Sampdoria youth and coaching set-up.
