| The woman, who has not been named, was walking on Charleston Drive in Menzieshill around 9.45 when she was approached from behind by a man.
He threatened her with a blade, before getting away with a small amount of money and a Sony Ericsson Cybershot phone.
The woman tripped and fell during the attack, suffering cuts and grazing to her hands, but did not need hospital treatment for her injuries.
A police spokeswoman said that while her injuries were relatively minor, the victim had been left “extremely shaken”.

The attacker is described as 6ft, of slim build and in his late teens, or early twenties.
He spoke with a local accent and wore a dark top with the hood up, a light grey scarf across his lower face and dark trousers.
