Fans’ chance to quiz board
The latest Dee 4 Life initiative will see the Dens Park fans group hosting a question-and-answer session next month with manager Jocky Scott and the full board, which includes millionaire backer Calum Melville (writes John Brown)
The event goes ahead on Wednesday, August 5, at the Dundee Social Club in Thistle Street, starting at 7.30 (doors open 7 pm).

“This is a great opportunity for fans to come along to meet the manager and board just days before the opening league fixture,” said Dee 4 Life secretary Fraser MacDonald, who also expressed his delight that chairman Bob Brannan and directors Ian Bodie and George Knight would also attend.

“With so many new signings, it’s a great chance to hear Jocky Scott’s views first-hand on the new-look squad and our chances of promotion.

“And, with big-money signings dominating the headlines, our members will no doubt have some questions for the men from the boardroom as well.

“Dee 4 Life are committed to strengthening the links between the club and the fans, and this is another example of the sort of open, direct communication we aim to provide our members.”

Fraser also intimated the evening could see association numbers swell.

He continued, “Anyone who comes along will be able to join the Trust on the night for just £1.

“We also ask existing members to update their membership details.

“This will help us stay in touch and keep them up to date with the work the Trust is doing.”
