| Held in Craigie High, the tournament consisted of 16 teams from eight schools, with Harris beating all competition to take home the Lord Provost’s Trophy and a quaich.
The pupils worked through puzzles and games using lateral thinking and strategy moves.
The annual competition is organised by a committee of teachers who meet over the winter to plan and prepare for the event.
Schools throughout Scotland take part in local events, with a number of schools taking part for a place in the national final. Harris will now take part in the final and host the local competition next year.
Harris teacher Marjorie Coton said, “The day was a great success with so much fun. All teams had a good time, competing against each other right up to the whistle at the end of the last round.” |
