| Eventfull Management are eager to host a replacement half-marathon after the original was axed due to a lack of sponsorship.
They will meet with council officials next week, and are hoping to have drawn up plans for the run in the next fortnight.
Organiser Nicholas Kydd said, “Around 45 people have contacted us to say they’re interested in a Dundee half-marathon.
“We are currently looking at two potential routes in Dundee, as well as the possibility of holding the race in Angus again.”
He added, “If enough people show they want to run in Dundee, then hopefully we can arrange a half-marathon in the city.”
