A learning package, to help Dundee adults who struggle with numbers and money, was launched at the Mitchell Street Centre today (writes Maura Bowman).
The new Count Me In programme, supported by the Clydesdale Bank, offers books, games and exercises to bring adults up to speed with everything they need to know about handling money.

“It provides useful and fun activities which explore how to calculate our money at home, at the bank or post office, and at the shops,” said Dundee City Council leisure, arts and communities convener Bob Duncan.

Clydesdale Bank community affairs manager Irene Swankie added, “The bank is delighted to support Count Me In, which is a welcome addition to our community programme.

“With its tailored focus on adults, we’re hoping this programme proves as successful as its predecessor, Count Me In 123, which also launched in Dundee.”
