Millar ban
St Johnstone midfield man Chris Millar has gone over the penalty points barrier and is set for a ban (writes James Masson).
It’s not known yet how many games the former Morton man will miss, but the booking against Clyde last night, which took him over the threshold, was harsh.

Referee Ian Brines indicated Chris had dived, a claim which amazed the player, the Clyde man who tackled him, Ricky Waddell, and most folk in the stadium.

Kevin Rutkiewicz took a leg knock, but is expected to be OK for Saturday’s away match against Livingston.

Martin Hardie wasn’t in the Saints squad. He’s set to go down south again for another series of injections which, it’s hoped, will clear up his pelvic complaint.

Meanwhile, Collin Samuel and Jody Morris remain on the injured list and Andy Jackson is on the long-term injured list.
