Grainger concern
Dundee United’s Danny Grainger is a doubt for Saturday’s Premier League game at Motherwell (writes Graeme Finnan).
The left-sided defender was forced to come off five minutes before half-time during yesterday’s reserve game against Hearts at Forthbank.

On the plus side for the Tangerines, midfielder Danny Swanson completed the 90 minutes after making a quicker-than-expected return to action following medial ligament damage.

Another bonus for Craig Levein’s men was James Wesolowski playing for almost an hour in the 2-1 defeat.

The Australian midfielder is needing some game time under his belt as he continues to recover from a lengthy spell out with a broken leg.
