| With temperatures dipping well below zero overnight, a morning inspection at Thomson Park proved little more than a formality.
The clubs will now try to get the game on at the sixth time of asking on Wednesday afternoon (KO 1.45).
“It’s been really frustrating,” said Lochee secretary Larry Duncan.
“We couldn’t work on the pitch after Saturday’s game against Arthurlie due to the conditions.
“But we had a lot of helpers up at the ground yesterday and were confident the game would go ahead.
“But the weather forecast didn’t predict such a hard frost and there was no option but to call the game off.” |
