Asda’s little helpers

Little dears turned reindeers to help Asda’s store in the Kirkton area of Dundee launch its Christmas festivities.
Dundee West MP Jim McGovern led the youngsters on a parade from Sidlaw View Primary to the store, where they celebrated with mince pies, drinks and a raffle.

Customers were also entertained with checkout bingo and Margaret Mather’s Free Voice choir.

All money raised will go to charities including Barnardo’s and the Salvation Army.

Events co-ordinator Mary Robertson said, “Everyone really enjoyed themselves and more importantly we were raising money for charity.”
