Plaque honours Iain’s efforts

Iain’s widow Lorraine and his son Steven, now a community councillor, at the ceremony.

A plaque now commemorates one of the last acts of former Murroes and Wellbank Community Council chairman Iain Anderson.
Iain died three years ago but he had persuaded Angus Council of the need for a pavement outside the north side of Murroes Primary School where children had to walk on the unlit road to Kellas.

The plaque was unveiled at a recent ceremony attended by community and council representatives.
