Geoff hails fans
St Johnstone chairman Geoff Brown was delighted with the support his side received in their win away to Dunfermline last Saturday (writes James Masson).
Nearly 2000 Saints fans made the trip and also made plenty of noise.

Now Geoff wants to see a repeat when Ross County come to McDiarmid Park on Saturday.

He said, “It was super to have such a good number of fans at Dunfermline and the support was well appreciated.

“The Dunfermline fans were a bit on the dismal side and that can be labelled at our fans at times at McDiarmid.

“Our supporters were also very colourful at East End Park and the enthusiastic way they greeted Liam Craig’s winner was great to see. They were proud to be Saints fans and to let folk know where their allegiance lay.

“And the club’s directors get a great deal of satisfaction from fans coming to games and enjoying themselves.

“We want them to look at every game as being party time — and make no bones about it, the players thrive on support like last Saturdays.”
