George out — but goodies in

George Chalmers — the latest evictee from the car.

The sixth day of the Radio Tay Live In It To Win It competition brought some much-needed supplies to Dundee’s Wellgate Centre Skoda residents from Asda Kirkton and Lookin’ Good community shop.
Six brave individuals began the task of living together in a Skoda Roomster on Saturday for one week with daily evictions starting on Tuesday.

A trolley load of goodies containing water, juice, sweeties, crisps and luxury items was handed over by representatives from the two shops today to be given to the car mates.

Mary Roberston, Events Co-ordinator for Asda Kirkton, said, “I’ve been listening to the radio every day to hear the progress of the competition.

“My favourite is Wendy. She sounds lots of fun!

It’s a fantastic thing for Dundee to have and for people to take part in so we’re delighted to supply some goodies for the car mates.”

Bill McCabe, from Lookin’ Good, a Kirkton community shop, has also provided food and water.

Thursday AM — Another failed task this morning. This time it was to do the alphabet backwards to win a phonecall — only Alicks has had a phonecall so far and her call was broadcast live on Radio Tay so it was hardly a private moment for her!

Later today one of the five will have a chance to win a shower — Ryan has been the car mate lucky enough to win a shower and when he was away from the car the other car mates took the opportunity to have bit of a bitch and a moan about him and this has really been the first time we have seen tactics come into play.

A new rule has been added to the mix today to add to their misery —none of he five are allowed to sleep between the hours of 6am and 9pm.

Alicks and Ryan tried to grab a nap this morning but were rudely awoken by presenter Mike Richardson.

This could be tough as they are only getting about three hours sleep a night.

At the start of the week Alicks, Ben, George, Kenny, Ryan and Wendy entered the car.

Now there is new girl Charlene, as well as remaining car mates Alicks, Ryan and Wendy.

Whoever survives the week wins the Skoda Roomster, supplied by Norman Fairweather Motors.

Live streaming from in-car webcams on Radio Tay can be found by visiting www.tayfm.co.uk and www.tayam.co.uk.

A text voting system is in operation and the person with the fewest votes will have to leave.

Remember — you are voting for the person you want to win! Text: ALICKS to 61025; RYAN to 61025; WENDY to 61025 and CHARLENE to 61025. Texts cost 25p plus your standard network rate.

The last eviction day is on Saturday with a winner being announced at 1.30 pm in the Wellgate Shopping Centre.
