Rae focused
His club may, or may not, be on the verge of a change of ownership (see main story), but the only event on Alex Rae’s mind today was the big weekend clash with Dunfermline (writes Tom Duthie).
The Dark Blues boss could shed no light on the chances of ex-Dundee United director John Bennett taking over and was not letting that possibility distract him from his main task of preparing the team for Saturday.

“We have a very big and inviting game on Saturday and, genuinely, we are interested in nothing else but that,” he said.

“I’m focused, the players are focused and we are all working hard to get ready for Dunfermline. They’ve been going well and will bring a big crowd with them, and this is the kind of game you look forward to.”

Alex has no injury worries and his big decision will be whether or not to include ex-Scotland man Colin Cameron or give him another week to work on his fitness after the knee strain that has forced him to miss the season so far.

At DUNDEE UNITED, Lukasz Zaluska and Warren Feeney were today jetting back from World Cup qualifiers with Poland and Northern Ireland and are expected to be in the squad to face Hibs at Easter Road on Saturday.
