No Gow move
Dundee United boss Craig Levein has knocked back suggestions he’ll be making a renewed bid to bring Alan Gow to Tannadice (writes Graeme Finnan).
The striker is surplus to requirements at Rangers, but the Tangerines wouldn’t be prepared to meet the 25-year-old’s wage demands.

David Goodwillie, meanwhile, did his first-team prospects no harm by bagging a hat-trick as a young Tannadice side won 4-1 at Forres Mechanics last night.

Marco Andreoni was also on target against the Highland League outfit.
