A surprise awaited Dundee teacher Jill Mathewson as she and her new husband, Martin Lee, emerged from Claypotts Castle, Broughty Ferry, after their wedding ceremony.
There to greet the smiling couple was a guard of honour, complete with thistles, provided by Primary 2 pupils taught by Jill at Fintry PS.
Mrs Lee was born and brought up in Dundee. Mr Lee, who works as a civil engineer, was born in Hong Kong but moved to the city aged two.
