| In April, the Scottish Government revealed it will be making £25 million available to kick-start a new generation of council house building.
Housing Minister Stewart Maxwell says he is working with local authorities to decide how best to allocate the cash.
However, Ms Glen says that, despite her best efforts to tease the information from Mr Maxwell, Dundee was no further forward in knowing how much it will receive or how many homes will be built.
In particular, she asked if Dundee would be expected to “participate in some form of competitive bid for their share of this £25 million”.
The housing minister said, “We are discussing with Cosla how we will allocate the money to ensure it has maximum impact, where needed, on the supply of new council housing in Scotland.” |
