| The Develop Industry Excellence Awards reward the work of top games development companies from across Europe. Abertay University & Dare to be Digital have been nominated for the Education New Talent Award.
Abertay are in fine company with other finalists including Microsoft, Nintendo and the Edinburgh-based publishers of Grand Theft Auto, Rockstar North, who boast four nominations.
This is not the first time that the University has enjoyed the awards spotlight: last year Abertay students (and Dare to be Digital competition winners) were awarded with the first ever BAFTA Ones to Watch Award.
A panel of industry experts will now vote for the winners of the Develop awards at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton on July 30th when over 500 games industry executives are expected to attend. |
