Appeal in City Square goes ahead
An appeal to the public by council housing campaigners went ahead without a hitch at the weekend, despite official permission being refused by Dundee City Council.
Members of Dundee Independent Housing Action Group, formed last month, attracted over 100 signatures to their petition calling for the city council to review its housing policy.

Spokesperson Dr Sarah Glynn said, “We’ve had a great morning and have drummed up lots of signatures and lots of interest. It’s been a very successful little stall.”

She added that the group planned to return to the city centre next Saturday to speak with more members of the public.
