Tele’s ‘wee celeb’ set for Crufts

Berry Boo and Jazzi.

Dundee’s smallest dog is set to make a special appearance at Crufts dog show in Birmingham next week.
Since appearing in the Tele last month, little papillon Berry Boo has become “a wee celeb”, according to owner Pamela Taylor.

Berry and best pal Jazzi, a Rottweiler, have won a popular following in Dundee, she explained.

“They are like wee superstars in the city since they appeared in the Tele,” said Pamela.

“They get recognised everywhere.”

In addition, Berry has been asked to open a local dog show, added Pamela.

Now Berry, who stands just six and three quarter inches high, has been invited to appear at the Discover Dogs stand at Crufts.

This is a stand where members of the public can find out about different breeds.

The trip to the show promises to be a real family outing as Pamela is also showing three of her other papillons competitively — Berry’s half-brother, aunt and uncle — as well a border collie.
