McBreen on mend
St Johnstone striker Daniel McBreen, who has started just one top-team game for the club due to injury, is battling his way back to fitness (writes James Masson).
The former Falkirk front man underwent knee surgery soon after joining the Perth men at the start of last month and is likely to be back in action soon.

Rather than have a day off with the rest of the playing staff yesterday, McBreen was working with physio Nick Summersgill.

Meanwhile, Saints boss Derek McInnes has to decide who will partner Kevin Rutkiewicz in the centre of his defence at Morton on Saturday. Stuart McCaffrey, Kevin James and Allan McManus are the candidates to replace the suspended Steven Anderson.
