Arrest after Lochee crash

Lochee High Street.

A man was arrested and police are seeking another after a car crash in Lochee, Dundee, around 8.50am today.
A red Subaru Forester went out of control and smashed into wooden fencing at Coupar Angus Road near its junction with Atholl Street. No other vehicle was involved.

Two men were seen running from the vehicle. One of them, believed to be in his 30s or early 40s, was traced by police a few minutes later and arrested.

A witness said he had seen a man struggling with an officer in Lochee High Street.

Police are trying to trace the other man — in his 20s, with short, dark hair and wearing a camouflage jacket.
