Primary 7A pupils at Dundee’s Craigiebarns Primary performed a play called Ginger Jones and The Sultan’s Eye for family and friends at the Rep today.
They have had acting lessons from the Rep’s Creative Learning Team to prepare for the production, part of the Playhouse Project, a collaboration by Dundee Rep, Plymouth Theatre Royal, Polka Theatre and York Theatre Royal. The project commissioned professional playwrights to write short plays for large casts of children aged between eight and 11 and that can be performed on professional stages.
