New Nine Trades appointment

The Nine Incorporated Trades of Dundee appointed a new Deacon Convener during a meeting at the City Chambers today.
Locksmith Charles Scott, a past Deacon of the Hammerman Craft, will serve two years in his new post.

Past Deacon of the Bonnetmaker Craft, David Adam, was appointed Collector to the Nine Trades.

In his retiral speech, Deacon Convener George Irvine said he was pleased to see the Nine Trades going from strength to strength and playing a major part in the Dundee community.

The meeting was attended by past Deacon Conveners and members of the Master Court.
