Local interest
There is set to be strong local representation when Scotland Under-19s kick-off their European qualifying campaign against Turkey at Dens Park tomorrow afternoon (writes Tom Duthie).
The young Scots are hosts to an elite qualifying group that also includes Portugal and Georgia, as well as the Turks, and their status as runners-up to Spain last summer shows they have a strong chance of reaching July’s finals in Austria.

Local interest tomorrow is likely to be the presence of Dundee’s Kevin McDonald, as well as David Goodwillie from just over the road at United — Tangerine Greg Cameron would have skippered the side but for a hernia and team-mate Keith Watson also misses out through injury.

Portugal battle it out with Georgia at McDiarmid Park tomorrow in a game that also kicks-off at 4 pm and the group will be completed with fixtures on Friday and Monday. Entry is £5/£2.
