| Boss Alex Rae may not be behind his desk on a daily basis, but he is still pressing ahead in his effort to bring in new faces and extend the contracts of several members of his current squad.
While Alex is keeping the identities of his transfer targets close to his chest, there is no secret over the players he wants on deals.
Goalkeeper Ludovic Roy and young midfielder Brian Clark have already signed up and, among others, the manager has also been speaking to Scott Robertson and Paul Dixon.
The pair still have just over a year of their present contracts to run and with a number of other clubs showing an interest, are likely to stall on signing up for longer for the time being, at least.
Meanwhile, there remains a strong chance of former Dundee United goalkeeper Tony Bullock coming to Dens.
He was not even on the bench as St Mirren beat his former club at Tannadice on Saturday. |
