Daal set to face Accies
Dyron Daal looks set to lead the Dundee front line when Hamilton visit Dens on Saturday (writes Graeme Finnan).
The towering Dutch striker had to come off in the weekend defeat at Partick after suffering a knee knock and hasn’t trained this week.

However, he’s set to join in with the rest of the first team tomorrow and, providing he comes through unscathed, should be in his usual place at the weekend for the final home league game of the season.

“He’ll be back training tomorrow, but, hopefully, he’ll make it,” said manager Alex Rae today.

One man who won’t feature is the player/boss himself, who is automatically suspended following his red card against the Jags.

And, with Scott Robertson and Paul McHale’s season over due to foot and knee injuries respectively, the Dark Blues will have a new-look midfield against Accies.

Meanwhile, Dundee will continue to assess Jamie Winter between now and the end of the season.

The Aberdeen midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer, recently spent a couple of days at Dens on trial with a view to a possible switch.

Alex watched the 21-year-old Dundonian in action for the Dons in yesterday’s reserve game against Dundee United and will continue to keep an eye on him.

“We’ll monitor Jamie between now and the end of the SPL reserve season,” said Alex.
