Christmas comes but twice a year

The group about to enjoy their lunch.

Members of the Dundee Ardler 50+ Group enjoyed a belated Christmas celebration lunch at the Ardler Complex in Turnberry Avenue today.
The lucky ladies missed their original Christmas meal, scheduled for mid-December, as they were asked to join Lord Provost John Letford at the City Chambers for a special lunch on the same day.

Social convener Margaret Rourke explained, “This is the first time the group has met up in 2007 and we’re having a little festive celebration in the centre’s new cafe to mark the occasion.”

She added, “We have a lot planned for this coming year and are already looking forward to our Burns Supper, Valentine’s Day sing-a-long and St Patrick’s Day celebrations.”
