EastEnders
Pauline is fuming when she sees Sonia talking to Martin and accuses her of trying to charm him into letting her see Rebecca. Later, when Martin hears Pauline making more snide remarks about Sonia, he challenges her, telling her that she’s poisoning Rebecca against Sonia. Sonia has a meeting with her tutor who urges her to sort out her private life.

Meanwhile, Bradley takes a few of his work mates out for a drink in the pub. Max is furious when he overhears Steve, one of his colleagues, ridiculing Bradley. He steps in, but is shocked when Bradley turns on him and what he’s doing.

Denise decides it’s time she ventured out, explaining away her injuries by saying she had a fall.

Meanwhile, Ian is shocked when he receives a bill addressed to Mrs Beale, and realises what Dawn has been up to. He confronts Dawn and snaps the credit card — leaving her fuming. Ian later regrets his reaction when there is a Walford Community Charitable Trust conference and they are expecting Mrs Beale to attend.

Minty is surprised when SJ introduces her to Sid. He is depressed — until he finds out that he is her brother.

Al arrives on the Square and is keen to keep a low profile. He isn’t receptive when Chelsea introduces herself.

Denise is determined that Chelsea should get herself a job, but she is more interested in pursuing the mysterious Al.

Coronation Street
Sally and Kevin go to pick up Rosie who is back from her exchange trip, but are slightly put out when she runs off to see Craig. Craig then takes Rosie to his squat inside Diggory’s boarded-up bakery. She’s horrified at first but then starts to realise that he is doing it out of love for her.

Adam vows to stand up to Danny and refuses his poor offer. The tension in Underworld increases as the girls demand to know if their jobs are safe. Later in the Rovers, Danny sees Ken and Adam looking through documents and cracks a joke saying they will never get a better offer than the one he has already made. This riles Adam no end and he calls the police to report him for conspiracy to theft. Danny is shocked when two CID officers arrive at the factory to take him in for questioning.

Fred tells Bev that he is thinking of retiring to the country. Later Fred announces his plans to Ashley and Claire and is upset when they immediately agree he is doing the right thing.

Over at the Platts, Sarah and Jason are off to view a flat. Will Audrey go behind Gail’s back and give them the deposit for their love nest?

Rita lends Sarah a beautiful sapphire brooch as her ‘something borrowed’, and Fiz and Hayley offer to help with hers and Bethany’s dresses. Will Gail ever relent in her refusal to get involved?

Charlie suggests to future groom Jason that he have a joint party with Sarah instead of a stag night as there is little time to organise it. He asks Maria to give him a hand to decorate the Rovers. The party gets in full swing but when the rest of the revellers leave at the end of a tipsy night, Maria gives Charlie a kiss. Does cheeky Charlie reciprocate?

Emmerdale
Jasmine is shocked when Cain tells her to have the baby and that he’ll bring it up. He later confides in Sadie that he would like the chance of being a father again. Sadie sneakily tells Jasmine that she knows about the pregnancy and produces an envelope full of money. Has Cain lost the baby?

An emotional Ashley takes his rage over Jasmine and Cain out on the Dingles who are drinking in Alice’s memory.

Martin tells Louise that he overheard Ashley telling Diane that Sam helped Alice die. It’s the day of Alice’s funeral and devastated Sam wants everything to go as Alice had planned. Sam struggles to keep it together when the funeral is interrupted by some uninvited guests.

The Dingles know Samson needs his father out of prison but who else will take the blame? Zak is determined it should be him until, to everyone’s shock, Cain insists he will go to jail for Alice’s death.

Elsewhere, Paddy has a lot of grovelling to do when he sleepily calls Del ‘‘Toni’’ by mistake. After spending the day together, Del gives Paddy an ultimatum saying the only way they can be together is if Toni moves out. What will he do next?

Hollyoaks
Craig, Steph, Jake and Jack are concerned as they congregate around Frankie’s hospital bedside. But when Steph is forced to deliver heartbreaking news to her mum, Frankie blames Jack and pushes him away. He’s got exactly what he wanted. Steph and Craig worry if Frankie and Jack’s marriage can survive this.

Sophie is convinced Sam is coming back to get her. Hoping it’s the best thing for her, Louise forces Sophie back to work. Russ and Sophie feel a little sheepish when they wake up together. Sophie can’t get Russ out of her head, in spite of Louise’s warning to stay away from the Owens.

Sarah makes an effort to impress Rhys and they’re soon back at the Ashworths’ where some saucy pictures are captured. Rhys brags about the pictures he’s got on his phone, but it’s not long before they fall into the wrong hands — Darren’s.

Gilly is hailed a hero after confronting a thief in Drive ’N’ Buy. Rhys is jealous of the attention he’s getting — especially from Sarah.

The Valentine family try to get back to some kind of normality after their mother’s death. Calvin reassures Sasha and Sonny everything will be okay after the reading of the will, but does he have doubts? Calvin is ready to take over as head of the family and take on legal guardianship of his brother and sister, but a relative unexpectedly shows up and turns everything upside down.

Foz and Nancy spend an uncharacteristically civilised afternoon in Il Gnosh.

Deek is annoyed to discover that Iona hasn’t shown up for work at Lazy Rays, and decides to find out what’s going on. Despite the fact that Iona has neglected to tell him she’s quit after being given a job at Versus by Heather, she still manages to keep Deek sweet and proceeds to con cash out of him for her night out.

Over at Versus, Charlie sees right through Iona, noticing exactly how much she is using the smitten Deek.

Over at the Henderson’s, Shirley returns from Millport to find that George won’t speak to her, still irked by her friendship with Fi.

Tensions are riding high between Ruth and Marty who can’t seem to see eye to eye on anything. Not only does Marty decline to invite Ruth on a business trip to London, he also complains about living in student-like accommodation — and a broken oven and fuse do little to help matters.

Elsewhere, Alice starts her new job at the surgery and gets on well, encouraged by Tina.

And Eddie tries to talk to his sons about what has been going on, but they are finding it very awkward.
