EastEnders
Sonia is feeling down about not being able to see Rebecca and isn’t focused at work. She struggles with procedures and, when another nurse smells alcohol on her breath, she is summoned to the office.

Elsewhere, Dawn realises that she needs to make more money and demands Ian give her some shifts in the cafe. Juley is left fuming when his shifts are cut and he resigns, later admitting to Gus that he is in serious debt. He is delighted with Phil offers him a job at the Vic — until he discovers it’s a cleaning job.

Tanya persuades Max to hold a house-warming party at No.5. She thinks it’s a good opportunity to get to know Bradley.

Tanya is furious when she discovers a flirty text on Max’s mobile. She replies pretending to be Max and arranges to meet the mystery texter, but is stunned when she discovers their identity.

Darren, Mickey and Dawn decide that it’s time Keith started to work. They force him into helping on the stall but are surprised by the results.

Meanwhile, Deano and Chelsea are less than pleased when they find out that Kevin is going on a date with Elaine, and they decide to sabotage the evening.

Coronation Street
Charlie is unhappy when he overhears Shelley and Steve planning a night out and quickly arranges a meal with Tracy at the same restaurant. Charlie can’t believe his luck when circumstances leave him alone with his ex.

As Jason and Sarah kick off their wedding plans, they decide their mums should be spending more time together. But how will the old enemies react when their children conspire to force them together in the Rovers?

Sean is growing increasingly despondent as he sets about calling all 164 Paul Jones’ from the Sheffield area in the hope of finding his dad.

There’s more tension in the Peacock house when Joshua cuts himself in the garden while Claire’s looking after him. It’s the hardest thing Ashley’s ever had to do, but he calls an uneasy truce with Matt and tells him he can see Joshua for two hours a month.

Fred and Bev realise they’re going to need another pair of hands at the Rovers and decide they could do a lot worse than Liz McDonald. Liz is thrilled, presuming she’s being offered the manager’s job.

Meanwhile, Tyrone and Molly are eager to kick off the pizza delivery service at the bakery, but Diggory’s not so keen. By the end of the night, he is serving his very last customer.

And three’s a crowd when Blanche tags along on Adam and Joanne’s date.

Emmerdale
After being gagged and bound at the B&B, Steph plays mind games with Adam, telling her they could run away together. She checks the tape recorder is still on and then bashes Adam over the head with the nearest heavy object.

But over at the police station, Steph is in disbelief when they play the tape and find that Adam’s confession isn’t on it — it’s simply a recording of his doctor’s notes.

Sadie goes to see Jimmy to ask him to stop blackmailing her. He says he’ll delete the photo of her kissing Cain if he sleeps with her. She pops home to find that Matthew has prepared them a romantic meal. He gets out a diamond ring and asks her to marry him. How will Sadie react to the shock proposal?

Dawn tells Donna that she met a surfing instructor in Newquay called Gareth and she intends starting a new life with him. Terry spends some last-minute father-son time with TJ, but Dawn is furious when he is so late in bringing him back that she misses her flight.

Meanwhile, disaster hits the village when a massive blast rips through the King’s show house at the grand opening.

Marlon and Donna are floored by the explosion and guests in the nearby beer tents are stunned as they watch debris fall from the house.

They look on in horror as it completely crumbles to the ground, with screams ringing out from inside.

Hollyoaks
With nothing left to lose, OB makes his final attempt to stop Max and Clare’s wedding. But, although Max enjoys settling into married life, Clare isn’t so pleased. And a confrontation leaves OB looking for a new job.

Mel is underwhelmed by her degree results and joins forces with Mercedes in a new business venture.

Joe attempts to impress a girl with his new business empire but is a little taken aback to discover who she is.

Disappointed with her performance at the audition, Steph sacks Darren as her manager for not believing she has enough guts for showbusiness. But everything changes when Darren receives an interesting phone call.

Louise urges Sean to give Warren the only possession he owns to get him off their back. She then gives Sean an ultimatum — get rid of Warren and they can start a new life together or he leaves on his own.

Rhys is embarrassed when Russ and Joe tease him for dating a schoolgirl. And Gilly’s prayers are answered when he bumps into the girl from the shop.

River City
When Bob finds out that one of McCabe’s nightclubs has been torched, he immediately realises that Lenny Murdoch must be behind it, and warns Charlie to keep well away from the loan shark turned gangster.

But despite this, Charlie has a run-in with Lenny and gives him a piece of her mind, much to Bob’s horror.

Meanwhile, an increasingly suspicious Ruth refuses to accept that Billy is not infertile, and expresses her feelings loud and clear in the public arena of the Tall Ship, much to Joanne’s horror.

Eddie is a torn man, on one hand wanting to be with Scott but on the other, missing his sons terribly. When he decides to tell Jamie and Paul that he is gay, Scott warns him that he will need to take time over it as it won’t be easy for his sons to take on board.
