| After guessing what Bradley and Stacey have been up to, Jim is sworn to secrecy but accidentally lets it slip to everyone in the Vic. Stacey assumes Bradley has been boasting and is fuming. But when she opens up to Bradley and tells him she loves him, she doesn’t feel so confident when he fails to respond.
Kevin is torn over whether or not to tell Denise that he hit Owen. He decides to come clean, but isn’t prepared for Denise’s reaction.
Keith assumes the wedding is off after Rosie returns from hospital with a fractured arm. However, he is stunned to find out that the wedding is still very much going ahead.
And when Rosie finds an advert in a magazine looking for couples to work as housekeepers, Keith is shocked to discover the job is in Norfolk. Neither Darren nor Keith are keen on the prospect of moving but they are shocked when they are outvoted at a family meeting.
Garry still isn’t happy that SJ is going on the trip to Germany. He ends up bickering with Minty about it, and tells him that he won’t go if SJ is going to be there. But Minty is pleased when SJ turns up ready to go. She goes out to get some things from the market, but when she receives a call on her mobile, she rushes off without telling him. Minty is bitter that SJ has stood him up, but he decides to go on the trip alone.
Elsewhere, Jim is left fuming when he returns home to find his son, Max, waiting for him. He asks him to leave, but things get heated and they end up rowing. Tanya arrives on the Square to collect Max. When she sees him flirting with Carly, she begins to question if she is doing the right thing by giving him a second chance.
Sean’s mum returns from her holidays oblivious to the bombshell awaiting her. When Sean confronts her about Brian, Maureen first tries to lie her way out of it then confesses but doesn’t see why it is a big deal. Sean is incredulous as she reveals the truth about his real dad. Later he confesses to Eileen, Jamie and Violet that he thinks he is better off without any family after discovering the truth about his parentage.
Steve starts to look to the future and asks Eileen if she would consider being the licensee if he were to open a new mini-cab firm away from Lloyd. But has Steve underestimated his old partner?
Gail is struggling to teach David at home until Audrey comes up with a solution — that Ken could become his private tutor.
Ashley, Claire and Josh return refreshed from their holiday but the cheery mood disappears when Ashley opens a letter from the court about arranging a home visit with Matt. Adam makes a move on Joanne — but is he interested in her or what she can tell him about the factory?
Unable to face up to the truth, Pearl contemplates fleeing Emmerdale. Things get worse at the factory when Val tells Del about the scam. Later, the two of them tell Len everything and he takes Danny with him to find her. But will they be too late?
Meanwhile, Jack and Zak hatch another plan to sabotage the development after the estate agent returns. She is initially impressed with the tour of the site until she finds a drunken Shadrach relieving himself against one of the houses. How will Jimmy recover from yet another embarrassment?
Bob is worried about Viv as she considers IVF treatment. But when she is told she could never carry a baby even if she became pregnant, she slumps into a depression, feeling that she has failed Bob. But could Donna, their first choice for surrogate, change her mind so she and Marlon can land their dream house?
Sadie is stunned when Cain threatens that if she doesn’t sleep with him, he’ll tell Tom that she asked him to damage the show home. How far will she go to keep him quiet?
Sean is determined he won’t pay off Warren but will Warren leave without a fight? When Louise suggests they and Warren should meet up, Sean has to make excuses that Warren’s probably got other stuff to do. As Sean and Louise plan their celebration later, events take an unexpected and nasty turn. Sophie comforts a distraught Louise as she waits for news of Sean at the hospital.
When Warren turns up at the hospital, Sean fears what he will do to him next.
Clare leaves the Loft early to baby-sit Tom — she’s keen to know what Tom overheard her and Sean discussing. How far will she go to protect herself while she’s home alone with Tom?
Max is really upset and thinks he’s neglected Tom and shocks Clare by saying that he wants to take the shop off the market and call off the wedding.
Clare isn’t happy that things aren’t going her way and does her best to manipulate the situation. Her mood isn’t helped by the return of OB who tries to talk Max out of selling Drive ‘N’ Buy.
Dom wants to patch things up with Tony but in the wake of Mandy leaving is Tony really ready to let his brother back into his life?
Much to Raymond’s dismay, Roisin decides to go up north for a while, and Alanna wants to go with her. Before leaving, Roisin calls upon her younger sister Iona to help Shona out at the deli. Iona arrives in Shieldinch, and it looks as though she may create quite a stir.
Meanwhile, when Scott comes into the surgery, he encounters Tina, who is taken aback to discover that he is her work colleague Ruth’s best pal.
And George is still struggling to come to terms with what happened to Joanne, taking his anger out on Shirley.
Father Michael is an unhappy man, so a concerned Father Dominic persuades him to speak about problems from his past that are obviously still affecting him. Eventually, Father Michael opens up and speaks and, later on, he decides to go and see Scarlett and clear the air between them both.
Elsewhere, Eddie and Scott seem to be getting back together again, despite the situation being fraught with difficulties. And Lenny torments Bob, showing that he means business. |
