HOPEFUL OF HUNT
Dundee United boss Craig Brewster is still hopeful of completing the deal this week which will see Noel Hunt move from Dunfermline to Tannadice.
The Tangerines gaffer, who is currently on a coaching course at Largs, is also keen to bring ICT pair Ian Black and David Proctor to Tayside. However, with little movement on the five players who are free to leave Tannadice — David Fernandez, Paul Ritchie, Grant Brebner, Derek McInnes and Jim McIntyre — Craig admits his efforts are being slightly frustrated.

“As far as the Hunt situation goes, I’d like to think we’d be able to get something concrete shortly, but the two chairmen will have to sort it out,” said Craig.

The late flurry of activity over the weekend has resulted in a backlog of season ticket applications waiting to be processed with postal and online applications still being received. It has been decided, therefore, to extend the Early Bird period for one week only until Saturday, June 10.

United thank all supporters who have renewed their season ticket to date and assure everyone all applications received up to and including next Saturday will be processed at Early Bird rates.
