A tasting treat for Lord Provost

Mr Letford set to sample cheese held by joint owner of the Tasting Rooms David Walker as Councillor Joe Morrow samples wine poured by fellow owner Graeme Scott.

Dundee Lord Provost John Letford visited one of the city’s newest wining and dining experiences today.
Mr Letford and city council economic development convener Councillor Joe Morrow visited the Tasting Rooms, in South Ward Road, a venue opened by Scott’s Wine World to let customers ‘try before they buy’ and also to act as a visitor attraction and events venue.

Scott’s Wine World has been operating in Dundee for four years.

Mr Letford said, “The Tasting Rooms is already building a reputation as an excellent venue for discerning wine connoisseurs and Scott’s Wine World is helping to bring different tastes from around the globe to Dundee.”

The Tasting Rooms houses a deli, a wine trading floor, corporate conference facilities and an art gallery.

Councillor Morrow added, “This is an excellent business venture based in the Cultural Quarter of the city and one which helps add an extra ingredient into Dundee’s ongoing regeneration and transformation.”
