People looking for a career in the health service pitched up at the Marryat Hall, City Square, Dundee today where NHS Tayside hosted a careers event.
Representatives from various professions were on hand to provide information on the many jobs and careers to be found within the health service. As well as the more traditional health service jobs in nursing, medical and allied health professions, there were representatives from the essential support departments, including portering, domestic and linen services.

The public also got the opportunity to find out more about maintenance and engineering services and talk to staff about clerical and secretarial posts.

Details of current vacancies within NHS Tayside were also on display.

The health authority prides itself on its ability to adapt to employees’ needs with initiatives such as more flexible working options, better and more supported career structures, family friendly practices, career breaks and access to childcare.
