£162,500 OF HEROIN SEIZED ON BUS
A SECOND Dundee man has been arrested in connection with a huge drugs find.
He was taken into custody on a bus in Fife and £162,500 of heroin seized.

Yesterday, in an unconnected case, another man from the city was arrested following a search of a car on the outskirts of Perth.

In that incident police seized amphetamines (speed) and cannabis said to be worth £300,000.

In a follow-up operation £18,000 of ecstasy and LSD were taken by police from a house in Dundee.

Today a 34-year-old was stopped on a bus in the Glenrothes area by Fife Constabulary’s drugs squad, who recovered over a kilo of heroin. He is now expected to appear in private before a sheriff in Kirkcaldy.

The 44-year-old arrested yesterday by Tayside Police is due to appear in private at Perth.
