A Dundee primary school class generously does without their “play pieces” one day a week so the money saved can be donated to charity.
Brackens Primary School’s P4/5 class were able to donate £450 to the Lawside Romania Fund as a result of their consideration for disadvantaged children.

The children have been in the habit of doing this for the past four years, and continue to donate the money raised to the fund, which aims to help the work done at the Budimex Children’s Hospital in Bucharest.

The pupils’ efforts were supported by money raised when they recently sold fashionable wristbands at the school.
