A Dundee-born man, who emigrated to Australia 60 years ago, today visited the house in which he grew up.
Bruce Scott from Brisbane, celebrated his 70th birthday today with a visit to his old home in Kenmore Terrace.

Bruce, his parents Eva and Alec and his brother Ken, emigrated to Australia after the second world war.

Bruce said he was delighted to be able to visit his old home today.

“I have had a great time over here,” he said. “I am so pleased I was able to visit the old house and it was very kind of the present owner to open her door to me.

“I could not have asked for a better holiday.”
