Dens board will meet at weekend
Dundee FC’s board of directors is expected to meet this weekend with finding a new manager top of the agenda (writes Graeme Finnan).
Jocky Scott, Tommy McLean, Paul Lambert and Miksu Paatelainen have all been linked with the post following the departure of Alan Kernaghan.

However, while the board will consider current applicants, they are likely to widen the net further by advertising the post.

Also up for discussion will be players’ contracts for next season with many of the higher earners certain to be asked to take wage cuts.

Peter Marr, meanwhile, has confirmed he will be staying on as a director of the club for at least another season, although he may be prepared to relinquish his current role of chief executive.
