Stevenson struggles
St Johnstone utility player Ryan Stevenson is struggling to make Saturday’s away game against Stranraer due to a hip injury (writes James Masson).
Goran Stanic should be OK, but a hamstring injury is likely to still keep Kevin Fotheringham out, while Ryan McCann and Peter MacDonald are still three to four weeks away from a return.

Steven McKeown, the trialist full-back from Leeds, has done “all right” at Saints this week, according to Saints boss Owen Coyle, who will decide whether he wants a further look at the player over the weekend. Regarding other ins and outs, Owen was steadfastly tight-lipped. However, the McDiarmid Park outfit have been linked with Sam Morrow of Hibs and Airdrie midfielder Martin Hardie.
