Makeover project

A project for young homeless people in Dundee was given a makeover today.
Employees from Norwich Union in Perth gave up their desks for the day to complete a partial makeover at the Cowan Grove project.

They redecorated the large entrance hallway, which includes eight doors, and a drop-in room at the outreach service across the road.

The 18 members of staff raised funds to pay for the paint and materials and even produced some original artwork to go in the hall area.

Some paint for the makeover was donated by the Dulux Decorators Centre in Perth, and by a charity project based in Perth called the Walled Garden.

Cowan Grove provides accommodation and support to young people who find themselves homeless for a variety of reason.

The project provides them with the skills they need and the support to move on in their lives.
